Inspiration

I am filled with a deep sense of wonder and gratitude for being alive
— and for being conscious of my own existence.

For me, it is a lifelong journey from fear to Love, a return home to my Soul, accompanied by a continuously expanding spiritual intelligence and a growing experience of living more and more in the Light.

Along this journey, I have met — and continue to meet — many deeply inspiring people and sources of wisdom.

I feel like sharing some of them here, in the hope that they may inspire you as well.

Higher Consciousness

Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (Transcendental Meditation)

Indian teacher and founder of Transcendental Meditation (TM). Since 1955, his TM movement has made meditation accessible to millions of people worldwide.

I learned TM in 2001. At that time, I was in a very difficult mental state. About a year and a half earlier, I had been involved in a severe car accident and was not yet aware that I was living with PTSD.

Helle, my wonderful wife, was already practicing TM at the time. Through her, I came into contact with my TM teacher, Birgitte. It felt as if Birgitte came from an entirely different world — she was a remarkable human being and an extraordinary teacher.

With Birgitte, I experienced for the first time what it meant to be in the Light, during a meditation we shared together. At the time, I had no idea what this experience truly was, but it felt miraculous, and it is an experience I will always remember. I am deeply grateful to her.

Deepak Chopra

For me, Deepak has a remarkable ability to live in full connection with higher consciousness, to hold deep understanding, and at the same time to articulate and give language to what it is truly about.

He is genuinely humorous and exceptionally skilled at inspiring others.

A deeply inspiring podcast featuring Deepak Chopra as a guest with Stephen Bartlett on Diary of a CEO - link.

I have read countless of his books — not all of them; he has written 95 books, so one can truly say he is highly productive.

Here are some of my favorites:

Eckhart Tolle

Spiritual teacher and author of The Power of Now and A New Earth. His message centers on radical presence in the now and quiet awareness.

He has written several truly powerful books, but for me, listening to his talks and recorded sessions has been especially transformative. There is a clear sense that he speaks from direct connection to the Source, and I experience his teachings as deeply meditative.

Marianne Williamson

She is an American author, spiritual teacher, and activist, known for bringing A Course in Miracles to life in a vivid and practical way.

I deeply appreciate Marianne Williamson and A Course in Miracles (see below). She is highly inspiring and has been a great support for me in understanding A Course in Miracles.

Joe Dispenza

Joe Dispenza is an author, teacher, and researcher in personal transformation and consciousness. He integrates modern neuroscience with meditation and energy work, and communicates in a way that makes complex concepts both alive and practically applicable.

I am very much in sync with his work, which has inspired countless people to create change from within — to release old patterns, open to new possibilities, and live more in alignment with their inner potential.

Tosha Silver

Tosha Silver is a spiritual author and teacher, known for her simple and deeply loving way of conveying surrender, intuition, and the divine flow of life. Her work invites us to let go of control, open the heart, and allow life to unfold through us — rather than pushing, planning, and struggling.

Her books are inspiring, humorous, and filled with many beautiful, small stories. She has inspired many people to find greater trust, surrender, and inner freedom in their everyday lives.

Kisser Paludan

Kisser Paludan holds a degree in psychology and works as a spiritual psychologist, author, and teacher. She has been engaged in personal and spiritual development for more than 25 years and supports people in finding their way home to their authentic self — toward greater inner peace, self-worth, presence, and love.

Kisser is a remarkable woman, and I am grateful to call her m friend. Her podcast A Course in Miracles was an important part of my own journey into A Course in Miracles and in integrating its teachings into my life and work.

A Course in Miracles

A Course in Miracles is a spiritual classic consisting of texts and exercises. It was channeled to Helen Schucman and William Thetford in the mid-20th century. The book weaves together elements of Christian philosophy, psychological transformation, and spiritual practice.

Its language can be demanding to read — I experience it as a blend of Shakespeare and the Bible. It uses a Christian terminology that may be off-putting to some, yet its depth has proven to be life-changing.

For me, A Course in Miracles is without doubt the single source that has had the greatest impact on my personal development. The book is a miracle in itself; the reading requires patience and attention, but the reward has been beyond words.

Gestalt Therapy and Leadership

Jette og John Porting

Gestalt Institute of Scandinavia

I am trained as a psychotherapist and organizational consultant at the Gestalt Institute of Scandinavia (GIS), where I wrote my thesis on Authentic Leadership.

I have received immense inspiration from my teachers — John E. Porting, Barbro Hulden, and Kathin Rosenthal, among others — and I am deeply grateful to them all.

Among books that have been particularly meaningful and influential, I would mention:

Gestalt Counselling in Action, P. Clarkson.

The Now‑for‑Next in Psychotherapy, M.S. Lobb & G. Francesetti

Peeling the Onion – Gestalt Theory and Methodology, J. Rosner.

Awareness, Dialogue & Process – Essays on Gestalt Therapy, G.M. Yontef.

Sue Congram

Sue Congram is founder of EB Centre (formerly Engendering Balance) — a centre for leadership and organisational development that works with awareness, balance, and practice in leadership.

I am particularly grateful that Sue was the supervisor for my master’s thesis, and that she is today my friend. We have, among other things, worked together on projects around authentic leadership as well as diversity and inclusion in global organisations.

Her approach has been important to me: that leadership is a living practice, not merely a set of tools — and that inclusion and diversity require deep reflection, courage, and systemic awareness.

Frederic Laloux

Frederic Laloux is an author and thinker within organisational development with a spiritual perspective.

His book Reinventing Organizations presents a model for organisations driven by higher consciousness — self-managing, purpose-driven, and deeply human. It is one of the most inspiring visions of a new leadership model I have encountered.

Quantum field

Gregg Braden

Gregg Braden is an author and science communicator, working at the intersection of quantum physics, ancient wisdom traditions, and consciousness research.

I am deeply inspired by his ability to bring complex science together with spiritual philosophy. His books and podcasts are highly inspiring and have contributed to expanding my understanding of the relationships between energy, consciousness, and reality.

Federico Faggin

Federico Faggin is an Italian physicist, inventor, and consciousness researcher — and one of the principal architects behind the first microprocessor (Intel 4004).

After a groundbreaking career at the very core of modern technology, he turned toward an even deeper question: the nature of consciousness.

He understands consciousness as a fundamental, irreducible reality — not a byproduct of the brain.

In his work and in the book Irreducible, he brings together quantum physics, information theory, and inner experience.

For me, he represents a rare and mature meeting point between science, technology, and spiritual insight.

His book is great — and quite nerdy:

Henning R. Jensen

Henning R. Jensen is a Danish author, speaker, and communicator of a quantum-inspired view of consciousness and creation.

With a background as an engineer, he brings complex knowledge into clear and grounded language.

His work points to the relationship between thought, feeling, intention, and the reality we experience.

He communicates with both curiosity and practical sensibility — without losing depth.

If you are in Denmark, there are good opportunities to attend one of his talks.
